Though it has a lot of gain on tap, it more resembles a heavy OD than a fuzz. But I don’t hold that against it. In fact, that’s what I like most about it. With only 2 knobs, it’s not hard to find your favorite setting. The texture knob gives you a nice range of fuzz tone.

Yeah, there are so many different flavors of fuzz from Devi Ever. The Hyperion is much closer to a "normal" fuzz, sounds like a heavy distortion box that can be turned up into a mild fuzz monster.
